Origins
Delving into house projects involving furniture refinishing, painting, and crafting, searching for a place to materialize their creative aspirations, Autumn Hunter Design was named using the middle names of Steffanie’s children.
In 2020, which upended the world, Steffanie was compelled to return to her handy work as an enterprise. With initial support from friends, Steffanie took a leap of faith and secured insurance, a license, and so on – and the enterprise flourished!
Presently, Autumn Hunter Design boasts a team of seven—three full-time employees, three part-time, and Steffanie. Operating two trucks and a van, they navigate the city, diligently addressing the needs of their customers.
The journey has been a testament to blessings received and the community’s support, which drives Autumn Hunter Design to eciprocate the goodwill to customers, fellow businesses, and the local area. Through ups, downs, and learning curves, they’ve grown stronger, imbibing new knowledge daily, and fostering a familial work environment. Their cohesive team, devoid of drama, prioritizes punctuality, professionalism, and exceptional results—attributes they credit for their continued success.
Our Team

Steffanie comes from a radio background, so how’d we get here? Her dad was a contractor or in the trades her entire life. She grew up roaming job sites, watching intently and practicing her skills. After the world flipped on it’s axis, Steffanie decided to open her own business and here we are. When she’s not working, she’s hanging with her kiddos, Kaya (who is a stylist at Ulta in Short Pump, go see her, tell her I sent you!) and Jackson (super smart high schooler!) She also loves her pups and her houseplants! Oh and coffee! You’ll never see her without a coffee!

Another fun fact, Trenton dates Stef’s daughter (the Autumn of Autumn Hunter Design). They’ve been together for 2 years and he’s become part of the family. While Trenton may be new, he is learning more skills every day. We’re excited to have him! When he’s not working, he is all about his cars! #ifyky
